Whalehead Club
A stunning 1925 Art Nouveau mansion in Historic Corolla Park, dressed in bold yellow and copper and overlooking the Currituck Sound. Whalehead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and open for museum tours Monday through Friday — each room painstakingly restored to its original state. Wednesday evening ghost tours run June through August by reservation. One of the most genuinely special historic attractions on the OBX.
