What Should I Do On The OBX?

Less Wondering. More Doing.

What is this?

A modern, no-nonsense activity finder for the Outer Banks. Instead of scrolling through endless lists and review sites, you get one suggestion at a time. Tap Yes to visit the website, or No to see something else. No accounts, no algorithms trying to sell you something, just real OBX businesses and things to do.

How it works

Each card shows you a local business or activity — what it is, where it is, and why it's worth your time. Tap Yes to visit their website. Tap No to move on. Use the filters to narrow things down. Pick as many as you like — we'll show you anything that matches.

Tap the 📍 town pill on any card to open it directly in Google Maps. Tap the share button to copy a link to the listing and send it to whoever you want.

The Three Modes

Same listings, different personality:

😎 Chill — Laid-back and friendly. Good for everyone.
🧂 Salty — Over-the-top excessive language. No filter. Adults only.
☠️ Pirate — Excessive pirate nonsense. Ye have been warned.

How listings get here

We research OBX businesses and add them manually. Some businesses have upgraded placement — they show up more often, but every listing in the deck is a real OBX business worth checking out. Own or manage a business on the Outer Banks? Visit our Advertise page to get listed or ask about upgraded placement.
