Walking to Village Craftsmen is almost as much fun as visiting the store — it's at the end of live-oak covered, historic Howard Street in Ocracoke, about a block from the harbor. A beloved craft gallery since 1970 representing over 300 American craftspeople with pottery, jewelry, wooden utensils, kaleidoscopes, pewter, soaps, and more. One of the finest stops on the island.
