The whole reason you're here. 100 miles of largely undeveloped Atlantic coastline, largely protected by Cape Hatteras National Seashore, with some of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast, and arguably the world. No admission fee. No reservations. Just show up, put your feet in the sand, and remember why you came.
