Tucked inside Hatteras Village Park, the Sea Breeze Nature Trail is a peaceful quarter-mile boardwalk through maritime forest and salt marsh. Along the way you'll spot native plants, watch for herons, ospreys, turtles, and other wildlife, then pause at the observation deck for quiet views across the marsh. It's a short walk that showcases the slower, wilder side of Hatteras.
