A Kill Devil Hills steakhouse institution since 1984, open year-round when almost nobody else was and still doing it better than most. House-aged beef cut by an in-house butcher, Midwest-sourced ribs, fresh locally caught seafood, free-range chicken, and everything finished over a cast-iron wood-fired mesquite grill that produces a flavor genuinely impossible to replicate. Full bar, extensive wine list, house-made desserts. Walk-ins only, open Monday through Saturday 5pm to 9pm. The best steak on the OBX and it's not particularly close.
