Full Throttle Speedway
A Nags Head go-kart institution with roots going back to Dowdy's Amusement Park in 1963 — now in its fourth generation of family ownership and still making memories on the bypass at Milepost 15.5. Gas-powered Indy-style go-karts on two tracks, junior karts for younger racers, and Surfin' Spoon ice cream sandwiches at the concession stand. Open Monday through Friday 3pm to 9:45pm, Saturday 4pm to 8:45pm.
