Currituck Maritime Museum
A free 10,000 square foot maritime museum in Historic Corolla Park, opened in 2021 and dedicated to Corolla's centuries-long history on the water. Eleven restored local workboats on display, over 25 videos, hundreds of photographs, authentic artifacts, and exhibits covering commercial fishing, boat building, decoy carving, lifesaving stations, and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. A genuinely impressive and deeply local story well told.
