A 15-passenger open-air safari truck tour covering 25 miles of off-road 4WD beaches north of Corolla in search of the Colonial Spanish Mustangs — descendants of horses left behind by Spanish explorers in the 1500s. Knowledgeable guides cover the history of Corolla, the horses, and the ongoing conservation effort to protect a herd of around 100. Two hours, all ages welcome, car seats accommodated.
