Big Buck's Homemade Ice Cream
Big Buck's has been scooping homemade ice cream on the OBX since 1994 — the owner literally traveled to Italy to study gelato and Brussels to learn chocolate-making before bringing it all back to the OBX. The result is something between Italian gelato and American ice cream, and it's genuinely special. Five locations across the OBX now, including a Corolla spot where you can watch the ice cream, chocolates, and fudge being made right in front of you.
